Decoding Anterior Aesthetics with MiCD

Decoding Anterior Aesthetics with MiCD

Date: 09 September 2024
Time: 9am – 6pm
Venue: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Synopsis:

In an era where many procedures are being carried out by clinicians without evaluating the biological cost involved in terms of loss of valuable tooth structure, Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry (MiCD) has been adopted as a purpose driven modern restorative approach with a focus on ethical, patient-centric, holistic dental care. Direct composite restorations empower the clinician to offer simple & complex aesthetic rehabilitations to their patients with minimal biological, financial & time costs enabling a more gratifying treatment option for both the patient as well as the clinician. With the introduction of new-age, bioactive composite resins, it has never been easier to achieve life-like aesthetics & shade blends that mimic nature in the anterior aesthetic zone while ensuring predictable, long-lasting restorations.

This didactic workshop will provide an insight to simplified MiCD protocols and empower the clinicians to employ an empirical work flow, from understanding the tooth anatomy & shade, importance of material selection with various layering techniques, establishing surface form & texture with simplified finishing & polishing steps to achieve predictable and reproducible life-like aesthetic results each and every time.

Key Learning Points:
